Gingerbread House Adventure!*#@!!

Today, I invited my childhood friends Gena and Sara. And My really good friend that I met in M.O.M.S club Shannon and Annie's classmate/ Best Friend from school Kayla and her mom Denise who has been very welcoming here in my new town. And let me not forget their kids too! That is Shannon, Gena, and Sara's. Anyways, I invited them to come to my house to make gingerbread houses. See, I don't know if I just forgot how hard these were to make or what! A couple of years ago I made gingerbread houses with my best friend Michelle and her mom and I just don't remember it being so hard! But the truth is this is a parent participation project for sure! Which made it fun!! A couple of collapsed houses but nothing that couldn't be fixed or eaten!! And everyone was happy. I am really just so thankful for all the friends God has put into my family's life. And, was able to see them before Christmas. Thanks guys!

Leia even got in on this! There's Gracie..

Noah and Ian really just enjoyed their lollipops
"Cheese!"
Kaia's ready to take her first bite
Here are the results...

Face painting & Balloon making at the museum

The Day off for Dad

This is a little late, this blog happen last week. I've just haven't been in the mood to blog. But it is that time of year where things get hectic. So here we are cleaning the pumpkins so we can make fresh pumpkin pie for Christmas. Which was good timing that my husband took the day off to help us. The other good thing about him taking off was, we had a chance to go get a Christmas tree. This is our second year buying our tree from this tree lot at the Costa Mesa fair grounds. The nice thing was we only paid $33 for our Noble Fir, and the thing is about this place is it's any size all you just do is pick which tree you want for just $33. And Douglas Fir were $23. Can't bet that!
These were the decoration off the pumpkins, from Halloween that Noah had on his head.

The first tree we saw, and that was it. It was the easies tree picking I've ever done.

Daddy's little helpers!

We only put the lights up, we were to tried to decorate. We waited til the next day.

Oh ribbon too..

"Christmas Work Dinner"

This was Michael's Christmas Dinner, which was at my favorite place to eat "The Melting Pot." This was everyone's first time (except Michael and I) but everyone had a blast and enjoyed the experience. The nice thing to was we got home early, which I don't know why, but it was!

Toy from a "Kids Meal!"

Just thought this was funny! It's just not your typical Kids Meal toy. They're stickers and you dress the clown. Annie and her cousin Ronnie had a ball with him and a laugh!

Holiday Tree Lighting

This is one of those events we really weren't sure we should go, because of the weather. It looked like it was going to rain, but we decided to go anyways. So i bundled the kids up made sure I had their umbrellas, their hats and headed out. And I'm glad we did because the city really put on a nice show.
Watching the kids eyes, when the lights came on the Christmas tree...It was cute.

Santa even came! He arrived on a firetruck which Noah liked.

Enjoying our Hot Chocolate while wainting to see Mr. and Mrs Santa Claus.

The city put out snow magic for the kids to play. They really enjoyed that!!

It really was bubbles but the kids didn't know the differences.
Hey Santa......Say Cheese!!!
I thought this was funny!!

Museum day

This is Noah's 2nd time on the carousel, which now he loves!!
Noah ran in every room carrying this police hat. I guess it was hat day.

The lady in Red, and ready for Christmas

Shy but got up there to sing....

Fancy hat there Annie??

The nice thing about the museum is Annie always seems to find a friend to play with.
